Liftking 3,000kg Duplex Webbing Sling, 1m to 12m EWL

The Liftking 3,000kg / 3 tonne duplex webbing sling is a versatile mid-range polyester lifting sling for engineering, construction, fabrication and plant handling. With a 3,000kg working load limit, reinforced becket eyes and a 7:1 factor of safety, it is suitable for a wide range of general industrial lifting tasks where a soft, flexible sling is preferred.

Manufactured from flat woven 100% polyester, this 3 tonne webbing sling is colour coded yellow for fast WLL identification. It is easier to handle and store than many steel alternatives, while helping protect load surfaces from marking. Each sling is manufactured to EN1492-1:2000, certified to TUV and GS standard, and supplied with a certificate of conformity.

Common Uses for a 3 Tonne Webbing Sling

This 3,000kg web sling is commonly used for steel sections, fabricated assemblies, workshop equipment, construction materials, plant components and machinery handling. It is a useful capacity for contractors and riggers who need more lifting capability than a 2 tonne sling while keeping the sling flexible and easy to handle.

Typical applications include lifting machinery frames, fabricated steelwork, site equipment, industrial components and general loads where surface protection is important. Lifting Hitches and Capacity Guidance

Straight Lift

Suitable for vertical lifting up to the rated WLL shown on the sling label.

Basket Hitch

Useful for supporting wider loads where the lift is properly planned and the load is balanced.

Choke Hitch

Can reduce capacity and should only be used where suitable for the load and lifting method. Always refer to the sling label and lifting plan.

LOLER Inspection and Safe Use

As a lifting accessory, this sling should be thoroughly examined by a competent person every 6 months under LOLER, unless a written scheme of examination specifies otherwise. Users should carry out a pre-use inspection before every lift.

Check for cuts, tears, abrasion, damaged stitching, chemical contamination, heat damage, illegible labels, knots or any sign that the sling has been overloaded. Do not drag the sling across sharp edges and always use suitable protection where required.
